What began as a hobby is now my passion!
I had my future all figured out. Someday I would retire from my day job as a senior instructional designer for Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and continue teaching as an online adjunct instructor for Yavapai College. After all, I am passionate about education and love what I do. I completed all of my coursework toward my Ph.D., was working on my dissertation and . . . then . . . the world shifted and every free moment turned into a passion for genealogical research. I kept my day job, stopped teaching, dropped my Ph.D. program, accepted the post-graduate certificate, and completed the Boston University's Genealogical Certificate program. My next step is to earn my professional certification through the Board for Certification of Genealogists (BCG).
This site served me well as an online portfolio and companion teaching site, but is now re-purposed as a hub for my genealogical research. Feel free to peruse, comment, and take advantage of any resources you find useful. I would love to hear from you!
